Heddon Bastardized #17 Black Beauty? 9 3/2 Bamboo Fly Rod

Here we have a Heddon fly rod, 9' 3/2 but I'm not sure exactly which Heddon. All sections are full length, and all except maybe one tip appear to be from a #17 Black Beauty, but the rod has clearly been messed with.
For the most part, all ferrules are clearly from a #17, excepting possibly one tip ferrule (or maybe the entire tip). Most guides and wraps also appear to be Black Beauty. But the butt has been remarked as a #117 (not a real model number, and quite poorly done) and the "Heddon" writing has been overwritten crudely. The reel seat appears to be from a #14 Thorobred, which matches the markings on the rod tube coincidentally. So my personal guess, after having fully original #14 and #17 rods in my collection to compare with is that somebody trashed the reel seat or maybe the butt section and one tip on a Black Beauty and used parts from a Throrobred to replace it using as many parts from the Black Beauty as possible in doing so. Long story short, we have a nice Heddon rod here with complete sections that needs only some minor touch ups on wraps and such to become a spiffy rod.
