    Description

HJ members were between 14 to 18 and this particular uniform likely worn by an older member due to size. The uniform is very worn, poor condition with several rips and tears. Most buttons are missing. The tunic arm band is present in very poor condition. The trousers have most buttons missing and ankle ties are in poor shape. The cap is in fair condition and insignia is included with cap. The original owner was a "fuhrerschaft" section leader as indicated by the white bar on the shoulder strap, troop number is also on the shoulder strap. The wheel sleeve shows motor service. The pocket badge is the 1943 HJ sporting event badge. the green cord attaches to section leader's whistle which is located in the tunic pocket Possibly the most interesting tunic insignia is the district shoulder triangle showing
"Sudetenland", the area Germany took from Czechoslovakia in 1938 to "protect" ethnic Germans.
